The Nokia N9 is the first MeeGo-powered smartphone from the Finns, and they definitely hope it won't be the last because it's actually a respectable piece of kit. The unibody polycarbonate chassis might feel a small plasticky to the touch, but it seamlessly integrates in to the glass three.9-inch OLED panel, which offers ClearBlack display expertise to make the dark bits darker and the colours more vivid than ever before.
Nokia N9 introduces an innovative new design, by eliminating the “Home” and all done on-screenmenus displacement. Everything is using a swipe or a sliding motion with the fingertips to the screen.
“With the Nokia N9, we want to design a better way of using a cell phone. For that, weinnovate on the hardware and software. We changed way of thinking, of using a button’Home’ to a simple movement,” said Marko Ahtisaari, Nokia Head of Design.
No matter where the user in an application, swipe from the edge of the screen will take youto the main screen. Three main screen of the user interface is designed to provide quick access to the most important thing people are doing with the phone: use the application, keep up-to-date with notification and social networking, as well as move between activity.
Design Nokia N9 is an example of art that blend function and its competitors have notdone Nokia. Material made of a polycarbonate single precision and beautifully formed.Display in black and laminated to make the user interface look like floating on the surface of this phone.
Nokia N9 is also equipped with the latest technology in cameras, navigation, and audio, providing an exceptional overall experience. Nokia also has been using NFC technology in this product.
